I am currently a Clinical Senior Lecturer and CRUK Clinician Scientist in Uro-Oncology at the CRUK Beatson Institute and the Institute for Cancer Sciences (ICS) at the University of Glasgow.  Work in my laboratory uses novel in vivo models in conjunction with patient samples to interrogate the disease processes in advanced and treatment-resistant prostate cancer.

I am a fellowship trained Academic Urological Surgeon working in Glasgow, with a special interest in robotic surgery for advanced prostate and bladder cancer.  I successfully set up, and trained members of the Robotic Pelvic Cancer Service in the West of Scotland.  As a partnership between NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde and the University of Glasgow, we have delivered a number of practice-changing clinical surgical trials over the last 5-years.
